INTERNECT Pricing Guidelines

INTERNECT is an internet service provider that offers a unique premium connection to the world wide web.

Our connection is a combination of cabled and wireless technologies that provides you with uncontended, unshaped internet access which is quicker than ADSL and more reliable than wireless.

The speeds shown apply to both upload and download data transfer which is far superior to ADSL which, due to infrastructure limitations, can only achieve uploads of up to 1Mbps.

Your connection is tailored to your needs and you can choose from the following connection speeds:

***We charge once off fees for:
• Connection fee of R1950.00 excl vat.
• Router and installation of R750 excl vat.
• The above costs are subject to fibre availability.

Our contracts are based on a usage basis meaning you only pay for what you use. The quoted connection speeds are applicable to download and upload data transfer.

How Does It Work?

At the beginning of each month you will be allocated bandwidth as per your specified cap in your contract for example 40GB cap.
When you are approaching your cap limit (200MB before), you will be sent an automatic notification prompting you to top up.
You can top up using the following methods:
- Prepayment online – Simply follow the link below or copy and paste into your browser https://hosting.internect.co.za/radiusmanager/ . Enter your username and password for your PPPOE and you will be taken into your account portal.
- Phone Support – Call us on 021 812 2714 - Monday to Friday 8am - 10pm and we will gladly top you up
- Email Support – Email us on support@internect.co.za

What Does It Cost?

You will be charged a flat rate dependant on your chosen speed.
For example: If you have a 40GB cap for the month, but only use 30GB, you will only be billed for the 30GB used. The monthly cap only acts as a safefy measure to limit unexpected costs of high data usage.
At the end of the month a report will be drawn showing all usage during that month. You will then be charged for usage, on the applicable rate in arrears.
Any credit card purchases during the month will be credited when doing the end of month charges.
